Kalanchoe “Calandiva”
Family: Crassulaceae Common Name(s): Grown by: Barbara and John Hopper, Kenwood These trademarked selections, bred from Kalanchoe blosfeldiana, expand the available forms of this always useful succulent. These forms have abundant roseshaped double flowers borne in a symmetrical cluster. They come in a wide range of colors. They need well-drained soil and good light to bloom well and are repeat bloomers. They overwinter outdoors in the Bay Area and reach their peak bloom in late spring. They are being mass-produced in Europe. Photo by Steve Morse |
