Oxalis bowiei
Oxalidaceae
John and Barbara Hopper, Kenwood

John and Barbara Hopper, Kenwood
This is a well-behaved South African species best grown as a pot plant. It is a summer grower with beautiful leathery “shamrock” leaves and clear pink flowers. It is best kept barely moist in winter and may go deciduous. The clumps can live for a long time. John and Barbara grow this plant outdoors year round.
