Adenium Crimson Star
Apoycnaceae Kathy Echols, Martinez This is a plant more often seen at cactus and succulent shows as it can develop a large thickened trunk or caudex and make an exquisite bonsai. It also blooms, often profusely, with many inch-wide oleander-like flowers. This form has deep rose-red flowers. Adeniums are tender, need lots of summer heat and need to be kept fairly dry in the winter time. Photo by Jill Salmon |
