Nivenia corymbosa Family: Common Name(s): San Francisco Grown by: 2005, Martin Grantham Nivenia = named for Niven corymbosa = broad, flat-topped or domed inflorescense. A gentian-blue, woody member of the Iris family, this species has been recorded to 10 feet (!) but Martin finds it bushy to 22' in sun and a slender 3' in shade. Photo by Steve Morse
