A fast growing, multistemmed S. African shrub to 1825 ft with enormous fuzzy, palmate leaves which ‘feel you back’ and top-most clusters of sparkling white flowers with bosses of golden stamens glorious when viewed against a blue sky. A good, quick screening plant, it will tolerate low light levels and is thus one of those few often futiley sough-after shrubs which can provide a quick screen under the shade of taller trees or even buildings.
