This pansy orchid hybrid has large bi-colored pink and rose flowers that looked rather delicate for such a large flower. These plants are wonderful for the Bay Area as they thrive in a cool greenhouse. They are epiphytes, coming from higher altitudes in Columbia that are basically warm cloud forests. Our winters are a little to cold to grow them outside. See photo ar right.
