Calochortus amabilis Family: Liliaceae Common Name(s): Grown by: Don Mahoney, Richmond This delicate native bulb is called, appropriately, the golden fairy lantern. It occurs abundantly in open woodlands in California’s north coast ranges. It needs well drained soil and part shade.
