Growing upright to 4 ft wide and ca. 5 ft tall, this South African shrub boasts grey-green narrow leaves and cone like, silvery flower heads on the female form available in the trade. Requiring good drainage, full sun and moderate to occasional water, this genus shares the characteristic family trait of phosphorus intolerance. Hardy to 20-25°.
