Celsia arcturus
Family: Scrophulariaceae Common Name(s): Grown by: Kathy Echols, Martinez Celsia is a genus very similar to Verbascum and the yellow 1' flowers are very mullien-like.This is a small plant, rarely more that 6' tall. The green-grey leaves are in a rosette the first year, but can eventually develop a short trunk. It is usually considered to be a biennial, but it can live longer. Photo by Steve Morse |
