Jovellana violacea Scrophulariaceae David Feix, Berkeley This is a semi-evergreen shrub native to Chile and closely related to Calceolaria. The violet flowers are about 0.5 inch across in terminal corymbs. The dark green leaves set off the flowers and are evergreen down to about 20°F.
