Bouquet of Flowers; Left-Pseuderanthemum grandiflora, tender herbaceous shrub to 3/5' tall from Chiapis,Mexico, and blooms for 6 to 8 weeks in September/October,large softly fuzzy foliage is disimilar to other species in genus which tend to have glossy/patterned or variegated foliage, Front-Nerine sarniensis 'Blanc Fleur', from Suncrest Nursery through Wayne Roderick. Typically summer dormant, but with fast draining soil mix and regular watering, remains evergreen.Right Rear- Nerine bowdenii- clone from Strybing, satiny pink flowers in October/November, evergreen without frost, good substitute for Agapanthus orientalis, similar in scale to A. 'Queen Anne'. |
