| Sarracenia hybrid "Pitcher Plant" Sarraceniaceae Katherine Henwood, Pacifica An unnamed hybrid was shown in bloom with 16" tall pitcher leaves and the curious down-turned red flower. The genus was named for Dr. M. Sarrazin de lEtang, a Canadian of Quebec who sent the widest ranging species, S. purpurea to Tournefort in the 18th century. |
