Over 6,000 plants have been displayed and discussed since Cal Hort's beginning in 1933. Every month Cal Hort members bring their best specimens--those in bloom or at their peak--to share with other members. Plants are discussed in detail, and a summary of this discussion has been a regular feature of our monthly Bulletin.

One of our dedicated members compiled this valuable data and created a unique database of these plants. There are 16 categories of information, including: botanical name, genera, family, member who showed it, location grown, place of origin, commercial source, etc.

We are currently in the process of updating the database (adding photos and new fields to the plants added since 1998) and are looking to have it ready for shipping sometime in February. Drop us a line if you would like to be notified when the new Database is available .
